It was Homecoming week here in Prosper this week. We had dress-up days each day of the week and got out early on Friday for our annual Homecoming Parade. Callie participated every day but Thursday (Crazy Sock Day), but I didn't get a picture of her on Monday which was PJ Day. Here are some pictures from this week:

Callie Back to School
Here are some pictures from Callie's back to school fun! She is loving kindergarten so far and loves her teacher, Mrs. Bryan. I can't believe she's in Kindergarten already, but I am so excited about all of the things she is going to learn.

Jack Turned 1!
It's official. I'm the WORST blogger ever! I am only 3 weeks late with Jack's ONE YEAR BLOG. I can't believe he's one! He is just the cutest thing ever. He is crawling all over the place, pulling up, and cruising around the furniture, but he's not walking yet. He gets more brave every day and will let go and stand for a beat or two before sitting down. He's jabbering and can say dada, all done (which sounds like dada sometimes), more, night night, and mmmmm (for milk) and hi. He can say mama but chooses not to for some reason. Oh well, I know there will come a day when I will wish he couldn't say mama. :)
At his one year well visit he weighed in at 23 lbs 9 oz (about 1/2 pound less than Callie at her one year visit). He was 30 1/4 tall. He's wearing 18 month clothes and a size 4 wide shoe.
We celebrated the big day with a splash party in our newly made-over back yard with family and friends. It was as hot as the surface of the sun that day, but the kids didn't mind since they were able to be wet all afternoon. Here are some pictures from the party.

Sitting on the new ride-on train that Grandpa and Grandma gave him.

Getting ready for cake (he just doesn't know it yet.)

Loving the cake. I love this picture!

11 Months
Oh my! I can't believe that I haven't posted anything in so long! Jack has grown and changed so much in the last two months. Here's the lowdown:
Weight: At least 24 pounds (that's what he weighed a couple of weeks ago)
New Stuff: He's crawling and pulling up on everything. He's even chewing on the rail of his crib (guess he's teething again). He has 8 teeth as of today. He says, "Da da da da" all the time. He is really starting to develop a personality. He likes to laugh and to make you laugh. He's such a sweet baby. He is super chunky and has really fat feet (just like his sister did when she was that age). He's finally starting to get some hair too! He refuses to eat baby food anymore and loves grilled cheese sandwhiches. He would rather feed himself completely, but I am still in charge of the spoon (I have to give him cheerios to keep him content though). Life is just crazy busy and fun. I just told my mom the other day that my house is like a circus. I guess that makes me the Ring Leader.
Here are a few pictures of him (and Callie) from our vacation to Destin a few weeks ago. We had a blast!
This one isn't actually from vacation. It's at our house after Callie's dance recital (which is why her hair looks FABULOUS). I just think it's so sweet!

Jack at dinner just being cute (moments before he started stealing french fries off of my plate and refusing to eat his own food. I guess he's going to share my LOVE for french fries.)
