15 Week Check Up

This is a week late, but I wanted to give you all an update on our last dr visit. We went last Monday and everything was good. I had actually lost 2 pounds, so that's a blessing! I've been stressed about not wanting to gain as much with this baby as I did with Callie. Anyway, I am healthy, and the baby's heartrate was 158. We will find out on April 20th if we are having a boy or a girl. Callie is super excited and asks tons of questions about the baby every day. She asks things like, "Mommy, does the baby like when you eat cheeseburgers?" Or "How did the baby sleep last night?" She is so sweet.

Her 4th birthday was last Friday, the 27th, and Tim took her ice skating that afternoon. After that they went for ice cream and to look at golf clubs for her. Yes, golf clubs. She is excited about learning, but we haven't gotten her any yet. When they got home Grammy and Summer were there for the weekend of celebrating. She got to open their gifts and then we went out to eat.

We had her birthday party at Peter Piper Pizza on Sunday morning. She was so excited to see all of her friends and family. Her best friend/boyfriend was there. I thought this was a one-sided love affair, but apprarently it's not. His mother said that he calls Callie his "girlfriend". So cute. I'll post some pictures from the party as soon as I can.

Overall we had a great weekend. If the weather had been warmer on Saturday, it would have been perfect. Check back in a day or two for the pictures to be posted.

Camping Excursion

We went camping a couple of Saturdays ago in Grandpa and Grandma's backyard. It was really fun except for the wind advisory. The wind nearly picked us up and carried us away. Oh, that, and the cayotes that woke me up and scared the pants off of me. We had a blast. Next time we'll venture out to a real camp site. But we'll check the weather first.

Here are some pictures from our trip last weekend. For some reason they are in reverse order which really gets on my nerves. Also, they were rotated when I uploaded them, but didn't stay that way.
