Mother's Day Weekend

Over Mother's Day weekend we were very busy! We went to the arboretum in Dallas on Saturday. Then on Sunday we had a picnic (even though we cooked and ate inside) at the Romero's. It was a fun-filled beautiful weekend! I am so thankful to have my mom and so thankful to be a mom. Just think, next year I will be a Mommy to two little ones! Here are a few pictures of the festivities.

Bowling with the Family

A couple of weekends ago we went back to Searcy to celebrate my mom's birthday. The weather was yucky, so we decided to go bowling. It was Callie's first time, and she had a blast! Here are a few pictures of the action.

I just thought I would share my excitement . . . over the past couple of months I have been taking the required tests to get my Texas teaching certificate. After taking the two required tests plus one I didn't even realize I had signed up for . . . I passed everything that I needed. I applied for my Texas certificate last week and was approved! So I am now an offical certified teacher in Texas!! That is a load off of my mind, and I am so happy!
