Video from Yesterday's Sonogram

Here is the video from our sonogram yesterday. He was pretty still when she finally got the video to record, so there's not much action.

It's a BOY!!

We went yesterday for our sonogram, and it's a BOY! We are so excited. Originally we all three wanted a baby sister, but after we found out it was a brother, the idea quickly grew on us. Callie was so cute during the whole appointment. She kept watching the screen and saying, "Hey, Little Buddy. You're so cute!" She also kept looking at me and asking if I was ok. She wanted to make sure that the lady wasn't hurting me. It was very sweet. She told Tim before they got to the doctor's office that she wanted a baby sister, but she knew it would be a brother, and that was ok. Very grown-up of her, I think. :-) We are planning to name him Jack Anthony. We'll let you know if there are any changes to that.

He moved around and kicked a lot while we were watching. He also had the hiccups. He was not sucking his thumb (like Callie) so maybe he won't be a thumb sucker. He measured about a week bigger than my original due date, but we were told that the first sonogram is the most accurate, so they won't change my due date from September 15. We'll see if he decides to come early or not. Here are some pictures of him. We think he's cute already!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Yesterday was Prosper Spirit Day at the Frisco Roughriders game. They are a minor league baseball team here. It was Callie's first baseball game, and we had so much fun even though the game was awful! Jim, Kristin, Sydney, and Jacob were there too by coincedence, so we got to hang out with them some as well. It was a beautiful day even though it was pretty windy. Unfortunately Frisco lost to the Arkansas Travelers 8-2. Here are some pics. . .

Easter Weekend

We went to my mom's house in Searcy for Easter Weekend. Here are some pictures of all of us in our Easter best and a couple of Callie hunting eggs in the house. It was COLD and POURING so we didn't get to take pictures or hunt eggs outside. We did, however, get to eat a DELICIOUS lunch (including homemade German chocolate cake!).
